Position Overview

The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless guest experience while overseeing nightly front desk and financial operations. This position combines hospitality, customer service, and accounting responsibilities to support the hotel’s operational and financial accuracy during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nightly audit procedures and balance daily transactions from all departments

  • Manage overnight front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs

  • Verify guest payments and resolve billing discrepancies

  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports

  • Create invoices, process billing, and manage vendor or contractor payments as needed

  • Schedule wake-up calls and fulfill concierge-style guest requests

  • Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and urgency

  • Ensure all end-of-day procedures are properly completed across departments

  • Answer calls regarding reservations and general hotel information

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations

What You Bring
  • High School Diploma (preferred)

  • Strong computer proficiency (data entry, accounting systems, invoicing, word processing)

  • Prior hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred

  • OPERA system knowledge a plus

  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
