Registered Dietitian

Lifekind Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in the Phoenix area. Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans. Provide advice and counsel on food and nutrition to patients in individual and group settings.

About the position:

  • Assess patient lifestyle, nutrition, and health needs
  • Assist patients in the development of specific nutrition goals
  • Develop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods and meet nutritional goals
  • Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change plans as needed
  • Counsel patients on the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases in individual and group settings
  • Translate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating advice
  • Keep up with the latest nutritional science research
  • Provide services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Prepare and review patient histories and obtain data through interviews
  • Maintain detailed, legible, and confidential medical records after each patient visit in accordance with established protocols
  • Code encounter forms according to time of the visit, procedures performed, and pertinent ICD-codes
  • Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences and participate on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by company
  • Follow Company Standards of Customer Service Behavior
  • Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in Arizona
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred; open to recent graduates-Training available
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
