Job Description:

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week

Shift: Days, M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: 2415 N Orange Ave, Suite 601

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report patient engraftment data to track clinical outcomes. 
  • Coordinates with BMT data staff to ensure secure, accurate, and timely submission of required data forms.
  • Implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient and program data specific to the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program.
  • Manages workflow processes and serves as a resource for staff and physicians regarding standards and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including those established by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), and the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program performance and compliance. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements. [Required]
  • High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives. [Required]
  • Ability to analyze data accurately and identify trends. [Required]
  • Ability to organize work to achieve goals and objectives as dictated by CIBMTR (meeting Continuous Process Improvement) standards/criteria and Clinical Data Manager. [Required]
  • Ability to assume responsibility over assigned work function. [Required]
  • Ability to establish and maintain quality control standards. [Required]
  • Ability to organize and integrate organization priorities and deadlines. [Required]
  • Ability to assist researching and preparing comprehensive reports. [Required]
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally. [Required]
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. [Required]


Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Work Experience:

  • 1+ year of bone marrow transplant experience [Preferred]


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
