CIBC Bank USA seeks a Senior Auditor to assess and validate complex financial models to identify model risks, evaluate model design, and determine models' operating effectiveness. Perform control testing of quantitative and qualitative models. Identify gaps and validate deficiencies according to established audit methodologies. Document audit results and communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders. Lead continuous monitoring activities. Leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence tools to improve audit efficiency. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of model risk experience in the financial services industry. Experience must include at minimum: 3 years of experience with developing, validating, or auditing financial models; 3 years of experience with applying U.S. Model Risk regulatory guidance; 2 years of experience with risk rating models; 2 years of experience with managing projects and coordinating stakeholder communications; 2 years of experience with programming in Python, SAS, or R; and 1 year of experience with leveraging data analytics tools to review financial models. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.
