Keyboard Player / Musician

New Shiloh Christian Center — Melbourne, Florida

New Shiloh Christian Center is seeking a talented and Spirit-led Keyboard Player to join our Music Ministry team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for worship, excellence in musicianship, and the ability to support dynamic praise and worship services in a multicultural church environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide keyboard accompaniment during Sunday worship services, Bible study, rehearsals, conferences, and special events
  • Collaborate with the worship leader, choir director, and other musicians to create an atmosphere of worship
  • Play a variety of gospel, contemporary worship, and traditional church music styles
  • Attend scheduled rehearsals and ministry meetings
  • Follow musical direction while also demonstrating creativity and sensitivity during worship flow
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude
  • Support the overall vision and mission of the church through music ministry

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in keyboard/piano performance
  • Ability to play by ear and/or read music preferred
  • Experience playing in church, gospel, or live worship settings
  • Strong knowledge of gospel chords, progressions, and praise & worship music
  • Ability to work effectively with singers, choirs, and band members
  • Dependable, teachable, and spiritually mature
  • Must demonstrate respect for church leadership and ministry standards

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Hammond organ sounds, pads, and modern worship keyboard techniques
  • Ability to transition smoothly during spontaneous worship moments
  • Familiarity with rehearsal tracks, click tracks, or music software is a plus
