DESCRIPTION

Role Summary: The Design Content Creator supports PURSUIT by executing design projects under the Creative Director and Marketing Integrator, creating assets across print, digital, and social platforms.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing and supporting PURSUIT through the curation and creation of design and content assets as assigned. They are also responsible for overseeing special projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Produce graphic design assets in "finish" work or branding as needed for PURSUIT's projects or social media.
  2. Present and create mood boards, storyboards, and project plans.
  3. Manage a project from ideation to completion by meeting and collaborating with creative team members and department leads.
  4. Assist the Art Director with tasks and projects.
  5. Produce design animation in the form of "finish" work as needed for PURSUIT's video projects as needed.
  6. Animate pre-designed assets in the form of "finish" work as needed for PURSUIT's video projects as needed. 
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends.
  8. Adhere to the PURSUIT's brand guidelines and creative direction of the Art Director. 
  9. Attend all staff meetings, retreats, and required events.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Professional-level skills and experience with people, and creative processes.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Organizational and written skills. 
  • Entrepreneurial abilities, from big-picture strategy to operational details. 
  • Ability to lead staff, recruit, develop, and inspire people, and set clear expectations and accountability.
  •  Committed to the local church and aligned with PURSUIT's leadership
  • Actively pursuing a relationship with God and living a life that reflects that commitment
  • Pass local and federal background checks
  • Adhere to all PURSUIT policies and procedures
