About the Role:
This is more than a job-it's a mission. A movement of purpose, compassion, and action calling you to stand for life and make an impact. Help women in who are considering or pursuing abortion to reorient their lives toward God and toward their children by providing them with medical services, pregnancy and abortion education, and pregnancy decision coaching.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide quality and consistent care, according to Core Values and SOPs for patient care.
  • Run pregnancy and STD tests as needed.
  • Provide STD treatment according to protocol by preparing and dispensing medication.
  • Take a basic health history and give information according to the nursing script.
  • Provide limited OB ultrasounds according to the Clinic's protocol.
  • Provide pregnancy options consultations and guide patients through a spiritual assessment.
  • Close out the patient at the end of the appointment, giving information and providing a copy of the Next Step form.
  • Determine what the next step for the patient will be, according to the patient process, seeking guidance from Manager if needed.
  • Manage follow-up protocols with patients to ensure continuity of care and cultivate relationships.
  • Manage difficult conversations with patients and guests with grace, facilitating favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain professionalism when communicating with outside agencies on behalf of a patient or the clinic.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance process.
  • Adhere to all Policies and Procedures as applicable.
  • Mandatory observation with Ultrasound training on a yearly basis.
  • Actively pray for patients and other team members.
  • Learn to communicate organization's mission as well as identify and celebrate Core Values whenever they are demonstrated.
  • Seek personal and professional growth and learn to train others in the nurse sonographer role.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.
Candidate Requirements:
  • A professing Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church.
  • Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the organization's Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values.
  • Must be willing to participate in applicable nursing and ultrasound training.
  • Maintain IL Registered Nursing license and BLS certification.
  • Position is located in Chicago Lawn, IL, Spanish fluency required.
