St. Luke Homes & Services - St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home in Spencer, IA is looking to hire a full-time RN (Registered Nurse) to enhance the lives and health of our elderly residents. Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Planning, directing and organizing services of Nursing Facility in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines
  • Provide hiring, evaluation, training and consistent oversight of caregivers and work assignments
  • Assist with Internal and External marketing and events to meet occupancy goals
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and a positive team atmosphere with people of all backgrounds
  • Possess initiative, good judgment and leadership ability to work well with the community, residents, families and staff
  • Possess understanding and compassion for the elderly population

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Graduate of a state board approved RN program
  • Currently licensed as a RN in the state of Iowa
  • Experience with long-term care programs
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Heart for working with the elderly
