Job description

Christian Life Center (CLC) is seeking a Finance Controller to lead accounting operations, safeguard financial resources, and partner with leadership in stewarding the ministry’s financial health. This role is ideal for a detail-driven financial leader who values integrity, collaboration, and purpose-driven work.
What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee accounting operations, including AP, payroll, purchasing, and contribution reporting
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and support financial reporting to leadership and committees
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, tax filings (W-2s, 1099s), ACA, and benefits administration
  • Supervise and develop finance team members
  • Partner with external accounting firms for annual financial reviews
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field required (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting leadership
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and internal controls
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
