Assistant Professor of Religion in Christian Theology Position Title: Assistant Professor of Religion in Christian Theology Classification Title: Faculty Full Time (.75-1.0 FTE) Department: Religion Benefits Eligibility: (not specified) Job Description: The Religion Department seeks applicants for a full‐time tenure‐track Assistant Professor of Religion in Christian Theology. Expertise in environmental theology or Christian ethics is desired. A completed Ph.D. is preferred, but late‐stage ABD will also be considered. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in Christian systematic theology and ethics and his or her secondary field, as well as upper‐level courses. An active research program is expected and required for tenure. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to all aspects of Hope's mission as a liberal arts college.
