Rheumatologist Opportunity
Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a rheumatologist to assist in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions or rheumatic diseases. Primary responsibilities include outpatient clinical care for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who suffer from these musculoskeletal diseases. This physician must possess competence to enhance the function of patients affected body parts, heal and alleviate pain, which includes treatment of these diseases that can affect the joints, muscles, and bones causing pain, swelling, stiffness, and deformity.
This rheumatologist will work under Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Orthopedics and Sports Medicine department along with 9 employed orthopedic surgeons, 4 employed physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, 3 podiatrists, and 1 employed chiropractor. The practice is experiencing growth, and the addition of a rheumatologist will meet the needs for our patients and continue to offer our community comprehensive musculoskeletal services.
