What is a choa?

A Choa job typically refers to a role in healthcare, specifically at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Positions at CHOA vary and include medical, administrative, and support roles that focus on pediatric care. Employees ensure children receive high-quality medical treatment in a compassionate environment. Depending on the job, responsibilities may range from direct patient care to operational support.

To thrive as a Choa (Chief Hospitality Officer Assistant), candidates should possess strong organizational skills, hospitality management knowledge, and a relevant degree or certification in hospitality or business administration. Familiarity with property management systems, reservation platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are commonly required. Excellent communication, customer service orientation, and attention to detail help individuals excel in this supporting leadership role. Starting as a Choa can open doors to a variety of growth paths within the hospitality industry, such as moving into property management, guest services management, or executive leadership roles.
