Job Description:
The Healthcare Assistant will work closely with chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support. The Assistant will be responsible for performing various tasks, such as scheduling, mainlining patient records, diagnostics, and x-rays.
Key Responsibilities:
Taking patient histories and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phones
Performing X-rays
EKGs
ETC.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy, and primary care
