THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will own the P&L review for a large portfolio of restaurants, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all accounting entries impacting the income statement. You will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reconciling assigned P&L accounts, including more complex and judgment‑based areas. In this role, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to Financial Accountants, supporting their development and helping strengthen overall accounting quality and controls.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform timely and accurate monthly P&L account analysis, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, prepaid accounts, real estate taxes, suspense accounts, international accounting and other assigned areas.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including month‑end accruals, adjusting journal entries, and resolution of exceptions based on predetermined criteria.

  • Support Operations by producing accurate P&Ls, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and providing training to enhance P&L understanding and financial decision‑making.

  • Participate in annual internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as requested.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs, special projects, or cross‑functional initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • B.A./B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Proficiency with PC tools and the full Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret raw financial data to drive actionable recommendations

  • Demonstrated experience performing profitability, trend, and variance analyses

  • Working knowledge of planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes

  • Ability to clearly present financial information to stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy when handling financial data

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $67,000.00–$95,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
