Job description

Ultimate USA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is part of a highly successful international group of companies with additional locations in Austria, Romania, Poland, Turkey, China and Australia.

We specialize in the development, sales and service of gangways, automatic door systems and interior fittings for rail vehicles and buses.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our presence in the United States. Our Charlotte location is a new and developing site, currently being built up by a highly motivated and dynamic team, offering a unique opportunity to actively shape the future of our business in the region.

Your Responsibility:
  • Independent management and coordination of customer projects
  • Planning, monitoring and coordination of schedules, budgets and project milestones
  • Functional leadership of interdisciplinary project teams, as well as close collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Logistics and specialist departments at the Austrian site
  • Support and communication with customers, including project meetings and presentations
  • Coordination of change management, approvals, acceptances and type testing
  • Support with quotations, documentation and First Article Inspection (FAI)
Your Profile:
  • Completed technical or commercial education or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, ideally in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or railway vehicle manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central) and MS Office
  • Business-fluent English skills
  • Willingness to travel
