Position Summary

KidsPeace is seeking Bilingual (English/Spanish) Program Aide for an immediate openings within our KidsHaven program. Located in Bethlehem, PA, this program provides essential care and support to unaccompanied migrant children as they navigate reunification and acclimation. You will work with children who have experienced trauma, loss, and major transitions, delivering culturally responsive and traumainformed care that promotes safety, trust, and wellbeing.

Shifts Available

  • Fulltime
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • No Weekends

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of paid experience working with children.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency—reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and Child Abuse History Clearance (processed by KidsPeace).
  • Must pass a physical and drug screening (covered by KidsPeace).
  • Must complete all KidsPeace-sponsored training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate supervision and guidance to children and adolescents.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to the safety of youth, remaining attentive and responsive to all ongoing concerns and developments.
