Job description

Job Purpose:
- CCOS (Children's Clinical Outpatient Services) provides mental health care for children and adolescents, ages 2 years to 18 or older if they are still attending high school. The Program Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This role involves assisting with the coordination of program activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing communications.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and external partners in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily program functions.
- Assist in the development and distribution of program materials and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the program.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or program support role.
- Experience working in a behavioral health or social services environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with data entry and management systems.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
