                   Harbor View Creative Learning Center is looking for a classroom floater to join our team! 
                                                                       

Responsibilities:
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
  • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
  • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
  • Guide children in developing their artistic and practical skills through a carefully constructed curriculum (identifying shapes, numbers, colors, art, etc.).
  • Communicate regularly with parents to understand the children's backgrounds and psyches.
  • Collaborate with other educators.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy classroom in accordance with health and safety standards.

Benefits:
  • All Employees will accrue Personal Time and PTO hours that do not expire and can roll over to the following year.
  • Sick Pay will be accrued up to 48 hours, applied to each employee's policy, and paid out for absences due to illness each calendar year. Sick pay hours do not expire and can roll over to the following year.

Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
    • Excellent communication and instructional skills
    • Ability to act as a mediator between children
    • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
    • Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
