About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Child Care Center Room Leader! This exciting position allows you to nurture young minds and create a positive learning environment in our welcoming center in Avon, NY.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise daily activities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and developmental milestones.
  • Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and volunteers.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA
  • At least 2 years of experience in a child care or educational setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
  • Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
