Job description

The Assistant Vice President, Chief of Staff/Project Manager serves as the centralized coordination leader/project manager for internal operations and activities for the State Government Relations (SGR) Division, including coordinating and managing SGR special projects, reports, issue trackers and member-facing updates.

Position Qualifications/Education
  • Assists in coordinating SGR legislative and regulatory activity across all states.
  • Coordinates internal SGR workflows, calendars and deliverables.
  • Manages special SGR projects, issue trackers, reports and member-facing updates.
  • Contributes to and supports strategic planning and cross-state issue alignment.
  • Works with the Public Affairs Division to leads strategic communications initiatives on behalf of SGR.

Works collaboratively with SGR team members, other APCIA staff, and member companies, as appropriate, to complete special projects/reports and coordinate SGR legislative and regulatory activities.
