Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Total responsibility for all projects including automated test systems, TPSs, and simulators.
  • Provides project estimates during proposal phase
  • Manages projects from inception to on-time delivery and then manages sustainment
  • Responsible for all facets of Systems Division expenditures, purchase orders, cost containment, efficient Use of resources, and on-budget completion of projects.
  • Responsible for Systems Division personnel resources. Recommends salaries and other financial incentive to COO. Responsible for adequate resources required to complete Projects on time.
  • Manages project managers on all facets of a respective Project. Supplements project managers.
  • Final technical authority for all Systems Division Engineering related issues. Actively participates in design reviews and approves system design and configuration for all projects Managed by Project managers.
  • Responsible for timely deliveries of all contractual Obligations of the Systems Division.
  • Handles all customer-related communications - from project inception through post-delivery.
  • Assists management with sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Provides periodic project status reports to corporate Management.
  • Additional tasks assigned by COO.

Required Recent Experience / Knowledge:
  • strong hands on experience in: โ€ข Test methodologies and test software development. โ€ข Analog, Digital, mixed-signal processing, control systems, sensors, Microprocessors, microcontrollers, DSP, and PLDs, FPGAs. โ€ข Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and Projects โ€ข Schematic capture using tools like: OrCAD, Altium, PSpice, and Verilog, PCB design and testing
  • Solid time management skills and demonstrated efficiency in providing engineering support on multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to motivate and develop professionals to achieve their highest proficiency
  • Ability to create and manage electrical specifications and test Procedures
  • Ability to do low-level review of the designs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated people skills, both inside and outside the
