Job description

Position Summary

Kinetic Credit Union is seeking a Vice President/Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer to serve as a key strategic partner to the President/CEO and Executive Vice President in shaping and advancing the credit unionโ€™s vision, growth priorities, and strategic direction. This executive will lead the overall operation and administration of Marketing, Strategy, the Project Team, Business Intelligence, Community Relations, Governmental Affairs, and Business Development. The role will identify opportunities to strengthen products, services, and member experience through market research, strategic insight, and innovation, while collaborating closely with senior leaders to support efficient, coordinated credit union operations. The Vice President/Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer will also provide leadership in departmental talent management, including recommendations related to hiring, performance development, training, promotions, and policy interpretation. Candidates should hold a fourโ€‘year degree in business administration or a related field and bring the strategic, analytical, communication, and leadership skills needed to help Kinetic continue delivering exceptional value to its members and communities.

Company Profile

Recognizing the need for financial support among Fort Benning employees, The Infantry Center Federal Credit Union (TIC) was established in 1956. Initially, membership was limited to civilian employees at Fort Benning, but in 2005, TIC expanded to a community charter, allowing broader access to its services. In 2014, TIC rebranded as Kinetic Credit Union, a name that honors its legacy while embracing a forwardโ€‘thinking vision. While the name changed, the credit union remained committed to the same exceptional service and stability that members had come to trust. Further growth came in April 2016, when Kinetic merged with MEA Federal Credit Union, strengthening its presence in the region. This merger increased convenience for members by adding more branches and ATMs across a sevenโ€‘county area. Kinetic also became the official credit union for teachers, administrators, and support staff in local school districts. Today, Kinetic manages over $664 million in assets and proudly serves more than 45,000 members who live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school in Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Harris, and Marion counties in Georgia, and Lee, Russell, and Macon counties in Alabama. A legacy of growth with a strong reputation for quality service, Kinetic Credit Union remains dedicated to helping members and their families improve their financial wellโ€‘being with safe, costโ€‘effective financial solutions.

Community Profile

Columbus, Georgia, is a dynamic river city with a rich history, a thriving arts community, and abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation. The Chattahoochee River has long supported the region through commerce, industry, energy, and recreation, and it remains central to the cityโ€™s identity today. The 15โ€‘mile Chattahoochee Riverwalk provides scenic space for walking, running, and biking along the river. Nearby, the Chattahoochee Whitewater Park offers one of the worldโ€™s longest urban whitewater rafting courses, drawing rafters, kayakers, and visitors seeking an outdoor adventure in the heart of the city. Columbus also offers a wide range of cultural and historic attractions, including the Springer Opera Houseโ€”Georgiaโ€™s State Theatreโ€”the National Civil War Naval Museum, the Columbus Museum, and historic neighborhoods throughout the city. Visitors and residents can enjoy performances at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts and Springer Opera House, as well as shopping, restaurants, events, and nightlife in Uptown Columbus. With its walkable riverfront, growing culinary and arts scenes, and convenient location in west Georgia, Columbus offers an appealing blend of city energy and outdoor access. Its location also places both Gulf Coast beaches and North Georgia mountain destinations within a reasonable drive, making it a great place to live, work, and explore.

Compensation

A comprehensive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate.
