In technology, a Chief Container might lead teams that architect, deploy, and maintain containerized applications to improve scalability and efficiency. In logistics, the role could involve managing the movement, storage, and optimization of physical shipping containers. Clarifying the industry or context is important to better understand the responsibilities of a Chief Container.

Job description

HR Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused HR Coordinator to take ownership of our company's day-to-day Human Resources function. This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants the autonomy and responsibility of managing a full-scope HR function as a one-person department. The ideal candidate is someone who can balance the details of HR administration with the people side of the business. You will serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership, ensuring our HR processes are efficient, compliant, well-organized, and aligned with the organization. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, exercising good judgment, maintaining strict confidentiality, and taking initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done. Please know that this is a on-site role in Acworth, GA.

What You'll Do

  • Own the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted and approachable resource for employees and managers.
  • Maintain HR systems, databases and reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR coordinator role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multiple areas of HR independently.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Experience with benefits administration and payroll coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Experience with Paycor is a plus!
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to identify what needs to be done and take ownership from start to finish.
