Job description

As a Chick-fil-A Team Member you play a crucial role in the effectiveness of our team and the success of our restaurant. In selecting Chick-fil-A Team Members, we are looking for hard working individuals who will share our passion for giving our guest remarkable service and hospitality. An individual in this role will be positioned in either the Front-of-House or Back-of-House.
A great benefit of working for Chick-fil-A is the scholarship opportunities. Students may apply and be eligible for $1,000, $2,500 amd $25,000 scholarships. We love to have our college kids come back to work during all breaks and especially each summer! So much easier than searching for a job each year.
Expectations of all Team Members:
Work your scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shift
Arrive for your shift in full uniform: shirt, pants, belt, non-slip shoes, and nametag
Keep a "sense of urgency" and have a balance between Speed & Quality
When things slow down, know what you should be doing next - if unsure, ask the shift manager
Be willing to learn and serve in any position
Always strive for excellence and continuous improvement
Responsibilities of a Front-of-House Team Member in this Role:
Understand and Utilize the Core 4 at all times.
Creat Eye Contact with the Guest
Share a Smile with the Guest
Speak with a Friendly tone to the Guest
Always say, :My Pleasure"
Ensure that our guests are always the number one priority
Be willing to stay on a position for the duration of the shift
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Work in a team-based setting to provide the best experience for our guests.
Responsibilities of a Back-of-House Team Member in this Role:
Work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of staying ahead
Ensure the quality of food meets Chick-fil-A standards and expectation
Create an environment of food safety by keeping a clean and organized workspace
Be willing to stay on a position for the duration of the shift
Work in a team-based setting to provide the best experience for our guests
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age or older OR 18 years of age to be eligible for full-time
Must have at least 8 hours of availability on Saturdays
Must have ability for a flexible schedule and work some evening shifts.
Those still in high school must be availabile at least 3 nights a week as a store closer.
