Position Summary─────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Thompson Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects across a broad range of civil engineering disciplines. This individual will manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and client relationships while leading multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.Candidates with experience in transportation, site civil, coastal engineering, hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), water resources, federal, municipal, land development, or related infrastructure markets are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities─────────────────────────────────────────────────────── • Manage engineering projects from planning and design through construction. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans. • Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service. • Lead project meetings with clients, agencies, and internal teams. • Review engineering deliverables for quality and compliance. • Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business and new client development. • Mentor engineers and technical staff while promoting professional development. • Support proposal preparation, project pursuits, and strategic growth initiatives.Qualifications─────────────────────────────────────────────────────── • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) license required. • Experience managing projects within one or more of the following disciplines:Site Civil Transportation Water Resources Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Coastal Engineering Federal Infrastructure Municipal Engineering Land Development • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams. • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and client relationship skills. • Experience with business development and proposal preparation is preferred.About Thompson EngineeringFounded in 1953, Thompson Engineering provides quality assurance and professional services for construction projects supporting industrial, infrastructure, and community development.
