Senior Patent Attorney – Chemistry

Job ID: VIP-17401 | Location: Seattle, WA | Employer: Vanguard-IP

Requirements
  • Advanced degree in organic chemistry.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Experience drafting and prosecuting chemistry patent applications.
  • License to practice law in at least one state, preferably Washington.
  • Admittance to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Industry experience in organic chemistry; patent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and expand internal and external relationships.
  • Team player, motivated self‑starter, able to work well under pressure, with flexibility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
