To strengthen our team in North Canton,
we are looking for you as a(n) Chemist.
Position Overview:
  • Work with sales managers and customers to identify customer needs and develop applicable formulations.
  • Developing appropriate testing plans for work to support opportunities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
  • Coordinate with operations to introduce new products and address quality issues with existing products.
  • Optimize cost position during product development through formulation optimization.
  • Provide support for chemical and lab safety.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
  • Chemical Engineering / Material science with 3+ years in a technical role in a chemical manufacturing environment and/or QA/QC laboratory.
  • Rubber compounding, rubber testing, or rubber processing experience a plus
