Job description

We are seeking a Chemical Operator to join a global polymer manufacturer's growing team. This direct-hire role offers strong career growth (promotions every 1-2 years), job security with a company that grew even through COVID, and guaranteed overtime at 1.5x pay.


What You'll Do:

  • Charge raw materials and operate reactors/mix tanks to produce alkyd and polyester resin batches
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and document equipment/process issues using a PLC system
  • Collect and analyze samples; transfer materials between tanks
  • Package finished product and load/unload trucks (SAP paperwork)
  • Support inventory management, plant housekeeping, and safety initiatives (PHA, incident investigations)


What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with batching, mixing, weighing, or compounding
  • Chemical/manufacturing experience
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and basic math/problem-solving skills
