What You'll Be DoingJob Scope: Responsible for technical leadership of a project as well as for supporting the Project Manager in managing project performance of the engineering team with respect to cost, schedule and Client satisfaction. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Performs project, engineering, and construction managementDevelops, implements, monitors, and controls assigned capital projects from conceptual engineering through startupPerforms or leads all engineering, procurement, and construction tasks on assigned projectsPerforms any other tasks assigned by supervisorHas at least 5 years of experience managing capital projects at a chemical, petrochemical, or petroleum refining plantA knowledge or background of signing permits onsite at an industrial location is beneficial as this may be required as part of the job duties for this role.Ideal BackgroundEducation: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.Registration: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
