Position: Manufacturing Engineer – SAP EWM Implementation & Process Standardization
Work Location: Sherrill, NY 13461
Duration: Fulltime/Direct Hire
Job Description
  • Lead and manage SAP EWM program activities including planning, execution, implementation, and delivery.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP EWM solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP EWM processes including:
    • Inbound Processing
    • Outbound Processing
    • Putaway
    • Picking
    • Inventory Management
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, and PP modules to ensure integrated solution delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycle activities including:
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Go-Live Support
    • Hypercare Activities
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for SAP business processes.
  • Create detailed step-by-step SAP T-Code execution documents with navigation and validation details.
  • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams for warehouse and business operations.
  • Define and document validation controls, checkpoints, exception handling procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Update business process documentation based on Change Notes (CNs), enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Conduct user training sessions, knowledge transfer activities, and process compliance initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations and SAP process standardization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM (Embedded and/or Decentralized EWM).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integration with:
    • MM (Materials Management)
    • SD (Sales & Distribution)
    • PP (Production Planning)
  • Experience developing:
    • Work Instructions
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Process Mapping Documentation
    • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Familiarity with SAP T-Codes, transaction flows, validation controls, and business process documentation.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
