Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer responsible for maintaining the security of cloud infrastructure. The role involves identifying, characterizing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to implement security best practices during the design, testing, and deployment of cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess security risks in cloud infrastructure, and work on organizing remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and vendors to implement automated solutions for vulnerability management.
• Conduct security audits and assessments of cloud environments.
• Utilize security tools to detect and resolve vulnerabilities in cloud systems, including Anchore, Tenable, and Checkpoint Software.
• Work with internal teams to ensure security measures are integrated into cloud deployments.
• Monitor and address security alerts within cloud environments, leveraging industry standard monitoring tools.
• Assist in the transition to Red Hat OpenShift and ensure that security practices are aligned with this shift.
• Provide guidance on the security implications of automation and cloud infrastructure management.
