Job description

Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructures to support business operations.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and CheckPoint firewalls.
  • Manage and optimize F5 Load Balancers for high availability and performance.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of applications and systems.
  • Maintain compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation plans.
  • Document network/security architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.
  • Strong expertise with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and CheckPoint firewalls.
  • Proven experience managing F5 Load Balancers.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Nice to Have:
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE (Palo Alto), CCSA/CCSE (CheckPoint), F5-CTS.
  • Experience with cloud networking security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
