In anticipation of the contract award, we are seeking a Site Project Lead with proven experience managing projects within an airport environment. You will support the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Requirements and Capabilities Analysis (RCA) Open Architecture (OA) system demonstrations at national airport locations. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing all demonstration support activities in alignment with TSA OA objectives. You will also serve as the primary technical liaison to the RCA OA team throughout the lifecycle of each task order and must be familiar with the checkpoint systems used at the assigned airport site.
Responsibilities
  • Providing project planning, coordination and technical advice to facilitate checkpoint Threat Recognition System (TRS), security screening equipment installation, removal and relocation.
  • Overseeing project execution including team building, requirements management, system configurations, development, test and integration, release management, and deployment.
  • Ensuring that project performance meets the requirements and project is on track to meet the schedule and budget according to the project plan.
  • Communicating with the Government and key stakeholder, and keep TSA RCA leads informed on project progress and issues to avoid negative impacts to schedule, cost or performance.
  • Supporting system security control assessment and risk analysis that lead to obtaining the TRS Authority to Operate (ATO) decision.
  • Coordinating shipments of TRS with peripherals and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) to the assigned airport site with all project stakeholders Developing or providing input to project or Order level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) when directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Coordinating with the airport site authority and all project stakeholders to make sure that the system build configurations (e.g., FF&E, power, and network) meet the strict airport site construction guidelines.
  • Coordinating the implementation phases from shipping through operational status, to include timely shipments, delivery, installation, integration, and removal of TSA security screening equipment in accordance with the project schedule.

Required:
  • BS or BA degree
  • 4 years of direct project management experience
  • Familiarity with the Checkpoint Requirements Planning Guide (CRPG) for checkpoint operations and a thorough understanding of airport construction practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
  • Travel Required
  • Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
