Managing stress levels—both their own and those of the pilots being evaluated—is crucial, especially during high-stakes checks or when identifying deficiencies. Effective communication and diplomacy are key to ensuring that feedback is both clear and supportive. Additionally, Check Pilots must stay updated with changing regulations and company procedures to ensure assessments are current and compliant.
