Job description

Little Joe's Mitsubishi - Chesapeake, VA
Tired of jobs where your paycheck is stuck in park?
Little Joe's Mitsubishi is looking for a Car Buying Coach / Automotive Salesperson who can talk to people, follow up like a professional, and help customers find the right vehicle without sounding like a robot in a cheap suit.
We are open to experienced automotive salespeople, but we are also willing to train the right person. If you've worked in sales, restaurants, retail, phones, customer service, furniture, real estate, insurance, or anything where you had to deal with actual human beings, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
Pay Plan
This is not a mystery-pay job.
Our current pay plan includes a $4,500 monthly base, with volume bonuses as you sell more vehicles. Total monthly pay examples include $6,100 at 15 sales, $8,400 at 20 sales, $10,400 at 25 sales, and $12,400 at 30 sales, plus eligible F&I bonuses such as GAP and service contract bonuses. Full pay plan and eligibility details will be reviewed during the interview.
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • One weekday off every week
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

Yes, everyone works Saturdays. No, we are not open Sundays. Even car salespeople deserve one day to remember what their family looks like.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Helping customers find the right vehicle
  • Working showroom, internet, phone, and text leads
  • Following up with customers consistently
  • Setting appointments
  • Taking customers on test drives
  • Learning inventory, financing basics, and the sales process
  • Sending videos, texts, calls, and emails to stay in front of buyers
  • Closing deals and getting paid

This is not a "sit at the desk and wait for magic" job. You will be expected to work leads, follow up, talk to people, and actually try.
We're Not Like Most Dealerships
A lot of dealerships hire every warm body with a pulse, pack the showroom with salespeople, and then act shocked when everyone sells 5 cars and makes gas money.
That's not us.
Little Joe's Mitsubishi runs with a small, tight team. That means fewer people fighting over leads, more opportunity for the right person, and a real chance to make real money.
We're not looking to stack the floor with 20 salespeople in cheap dress shoes arguing over who saw the customer first.
We're looking for a few serious people who want to learn, follow up, sell cars, and get paid.
What We're Looking For
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong people skills
  • Reliable and on time
  • Comfortable talking on the phone
  • Willing to learn
  • Competitive mindset
  • Positive attitude
  • Sales or customer service experience is a big plus
Do NOT Apply If...
  • You hate talking to people
  • You think follow-up means texting once and giving up
  • You need to be begged to come to work
  • Your driving record looks like a deleted scene from Fast & Furious
  • You want big money but bring small effort
Apply If...
You're hungry, coachable, and ready to build a career where effort actually matters.
At Little Joe's Mitsubishi, we're not looking for order-takers. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, sell cars, help customers, and make money.
To apply: Send your resume and a short message telling us why you think you'd be good at selling cars.

I'm not Falkn' around. We're hiring.
