Role Overview

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to support customers using public safety technology products and services. In this role, you'll assist customers through phone, email, and chat while providing accurate information, documenting interactions, and helping resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

This is a hybrid position that combines customer support, problem-solving, and CRM case management in a structured, metrics-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Respond to customer questions and issues through phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and identify appropriate solutions
  • Clearly explain processes, options, and next steps to customers
  • Document all customer interactions and case updates in Salesforce
  • Follow established procedures, policies, and support guidelines
  • Maintain accuracy while working across multiple systems and tools
  • Meet service and productivity goals related to response times, case management, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Support customers with questions related to technology products, training resources, and online platforms
  • Share process improvement suggestions that enhance the customer experience
Pay, Schedule(REQUIRED AVAILABILITY) & Logistics
  • Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity
  • Expected start date: September 2026
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Initial training will be completed onsite

RequirementsMust-Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service or customer support experience
  • Experience handling customer interactions through phone, email, or chat
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening, customer empathy, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience using CRM or call center software
  • Ability to follow processes, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a performance-measured environment with productivity and quality metrics
Nice to Have
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of multi-channel customer support experience
  • Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or contact center platforms
  • Prior experience supporting customers in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
