Job Description:

Responsible to the Branch Manager, the Relationship Specialist is part of a highly skilled service team, committed to unlocking the potential of individuals and families so they can thrive. Relationship Specialists work collaboratively with Chartway team members to create personal experiences and provide financial solutions for Chartway's members.

Responsible and Accountable for:

 Creates an environment of exceptional member service that provides sound financial wellness and consultative advice for our members

Develops and builds relationships with Chartway's member base through proactive outreach and follow up

Proactively collaborates and communicates with the branch team and other departments to successfully find solutions for members

Easily transitions between job functions and responsibilities within the branch to effectively respond to members' needs

Responsible for positively representing Chartway in the community

Efficiently & accurately performs member transactions and can easily assist members with new account establishment, personal financing, real estate lending, investment referrals, and small business deposit products

Accountable for branch operations, compliance, best practices, and federal regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to develop strong relationships in a warm and professional manner

Proficient oral, written, and communication skills

Respond, establish, and maintain control when handling challenging situations

Ability to understand and be aware of possible suspicious activities or transactions by members or by team members, directors, executives, or officers of the credit Union. Promptly notify management as required by credit union policy if unusual activity is observed which could be an indication of financial crime or efforts to evade reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act or other laws and regulation

Education and Experience:

Education: Associate's or equivalent experience

Experience: 1-3 years' experience in in providing top notch customer service, imaginative problem resolution and relationship building
