Position: Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant – Chart of Accounts (COA) Design

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Chart of Accounts (COA) Design to support our Finance transformation and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing COA structures in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and configuration of the Chart of Accounts (COA) in Oracle EBS Finance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Design scalable and efficient COA structures aligned to business processes and compliance requirements.
  • Configure Oracle EBS General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and other finance modules as needed.
  • Provide functional expertise in integrating COA with related financial processes.
  • Conduct workshops and interact directly with stakeholders to understand and validate business needs.
  • Support development of functional specifications for technical teams where required.
  • Perform testing (Unit, System Integration, and UAT) to ensure functional design meets business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to COA and other finance modules.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Modules, specifically with Chart of Accounts (COA) design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle GL, AP, AR, FA modules.
  • In-depth understanding of financial business processes, accounting principles, and compliance standards.
  • Experience working in a remote setup and collaborating across geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
