Job description

Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Pharmacist to join their team.

Starting pay: $165,318.00 - $192,608.00/annually

  • $50,000 sign on bonus!
  • Enjoy 208 hours of PTO per year in addition to 13 paid holidays and 5 additional days of subsistence leave.
  • Receive $1,500 paid monthly to assist with living expenses

Pharmacist Opportunity:

  • Order verification; monitor drug therapies and patient labs, sterile product compounding and oversight, provide drug information to nurses and physicians, counsel patients on their discharge medications, renal dose adjustments based on protocol
  • Provide drug information to nurses and physicians in the primary care center, proactive chart reviews, pharmacist refill authorization per protocol, anticoagulation services, adult and pediatric vaccinations
  • Chart reviews, medication consultations, prescription preparations and medisets.

Pharmacist Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Pharmacist
  • 2 year(s) Preferred or 1 year of post graduate residency working as a Pharmacist or pharmacist intern, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Lift or carry unaided less than 25 pounds
