Overnight Front Desk Agent

Reporting to the Overnight Manager, the Overnight Clerk is responsible for balancing daily accounts, completing overnight guest registrations, and assisting guests with requests while delivering exceptional customer service in accordance with hotel standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Balance and reconcile accounts from the day shift accurately and efficiently
• Complete overnight guest registrations and process guest check ins and check outs
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
• Ensure all guest interactions meet hotel service standards
• Assist with front desk operations and overnight hotel procedures
• Handle confidential guest and hotel information with discretion
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding overnight activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Previous guest room management experience preferred
• Experience using Opera property management system preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to receive instructions and complete reports accurately
• Friendly, professional, and service oriented demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
• Flexible and results oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure

Schedule Requirements:
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, and overtime as needed
