We combine advanced business management technology with personalized consulting to provide unmatched scale, efficiency, and support. Our advisor-focused culture is built on innovation and advocacy, enabling advisors to offer comprehensive securities and investment advisory solutions to their clients

Lead with Purpose. Partner with Impact. The purpose of the Business Consulting team is to empower advisor success by helping advisors and firms in five business‑critical areas: Strategy, Growth and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Capital, and Operational Efficiency.

Business Consultants must be curious, thoughtful, and outgoing with an ability to speak with clients/prospects, facilitate discussions, and deliver presentations to large and small groups. Business Consultants will work closely with subject matter experts to deliver unparalleled consulting value, deepen firm relationships, manage escalations, drive organic growth and make specific business recommendations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Must have the ability to assess businesses by analyzing and advising firms on all aspects of business/practice management, particularly in strategy/business planning, human capital, marketing, operational efficiency, and financial management.
  • Conduct client meetings in advisors’ offices, home office on‑site meetings, recurring telephone meetings, and webinars.
  • Develop and deliver content and programs that assist firms in driving organic growth, scale, and profitability.
  • Work with and manage various third‑party relationships that support the team’s initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of Kestra platforms and services that can assist Advisors’ businesses in achieving higher levels of efficiency, profitability, and growth.
  • Responsible for managing client engagements in coordination with the engagement team, including project management, relationship management, business analytics, and client advice.
  • Identify opportunities to drive referrals to Kestra departments.
  • Provide succession planning and M&A support to Advisors and firms.
  • Provide excellent follow‑up and efficient problem resolution.
  • Escalate issues or interest in relation to Kestra departments such as: Technology, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Business Development, and Wealth Management.
  • Share feedback from Advisors/staff with the Kestra Executive Committee and departments to improve deliverables and adoption of resources.
  • Be an expert on the primary Kestra resources and services.
  • Stay on top of industry trends in the Business Consulting area.
  • Maintain the Kestra culture, minimize attrition, and deliver results, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Share industry ideas and best practices from other advisors with the Business Consulting Team, advisors, and staff.
What You Bring:
  • 3‑5 years of financial services, practice management, or business consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Applicable FINRA licenses are preferred (e.g., Series 7, 6, 65, 66, 63).
  • Intellectual, analytical, and reasoning abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and follow‑through.
  • Ability to self‑direct and manage time and priorities.
  • Well‑developed organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to see the “big picture” while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player.
Internal Application Policy:

Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.

Benefits to support you:
  • Competitive pay and benefits with a large employer (over 1600 employees nationwide)
  • 401(k), health insurance, and a competitive benefits package
  • Work in a supportive, collaborative environment committed to professional excellence
  • Help clients navigate meaningful financial decisions with confidence
  • Opportunities for training, development, and long‑term growth within the firm
Kestra Values:

Our Mission is Powering Financial Independence, enabling the growth and success of investing clients and the advisors who serve them. We do that by living our values: Serve, Make it Happen, and One team.
