Job description

Ascella Technologies is seeking a strategic leader to support a federal agency initiative focused on modernizing financial and acquisition systems. This effort includes migrating legacy core financial systems to a modern, cloud-based ERP solution to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support more effective decision-making across the agency. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mission-Critical Modernization: Lead a high-performing team of over 50 professionals in the end-to-end delivery of interface design and data conversion, ensuring the successful migration of legacy data to a secure, Azure-based SaaS environment.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Alignment:  Serve as the primary bridge between government leadership and technical workstreams, navigating complex Agile environments (SAFe) to ensure that performance, quality, and schedule milestones are consistently met.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and execute the Program Management Plan, establishing the resource controls and risk mitigation strategies necessary to maintain a steady delivery cadence across multiple implementation waves.
Must-Have Skills (Required)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • At least 10 years of experience managing the implementation of CGI Momentum at a federal agency.
  • Proven success directing programs with 50+ team members, specifically overseeing complex data conversion and interface workstreams.
  • Minimum of 15 years of industry experience within Financial Management Systems (FMS), with a deep understanding of federal accounting and acquisition regulations.
  • Extensive experience leading projects within a SAFe or Lean-Agile framework, including the use of tools like Jira or Agility to track scrum team capacity and velocity.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure FISMA High cloud offerings.
  • Familiarity with federal software delivery lifecycles.
  • Deep knowledge of automated data cleansing and iterative migration methodologies.
