The CF Foundation, or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with cystic fibrosis (CF). The Foundation funds research, provides support for individuals and families affected by CF, and advocates for better treatments and care. Since its founding in 1955, the CF Foundation has played a critical role in advancing therapies and driving progress toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Familiarity with grant management systems, fundraising tools, or clinical research platforms is often required. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills help employees engage with patients, families, and stakeholders effectively. These skills and qualities are vital to advancing the Foundation's mission of supporting research, patient care, and community outreach for those affected by cystic fibrosis.

New hires can prepare by developing strong organizational skills, being adaptable to shifting priorities, and staying informed about the latest developments in cystic fibrosis research and care.
