What is a certified teacher?

Certified teachers are educators who have met specific state or national requirements to teach in public or private schools. This typically involves earning a bachelor's degree, completing a teacher preparation program, and passing relevant certification exams. Certification ensures that teachers possess the necessary knowledge and skills to provide quality instruction and maintain professional standards. Certified teachers are often required to participate in ongoing professional development to keep their credentials current.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a certified teacher?

To thrive as a Certified Teacher, you need a solid understanding of pedagogy, classroom management, subject expertise, and must hold a state teaching certification or license. Familiarity with educational technology platforms, assessment tools, and curriculum standards is typically required.
