Job description
Do you have experience operating forklifts, loading materials, and working in a fast-paced warehouse or recycling environment?
Join a global leader in environmental services as a Material Handler — with an opening on the night shift team (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)!
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and pays strong attention to detail. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time employee after 60–90 days (with full benefits and a raise).
What’s in it for you:

Material Handler Job Duties:
- Move materials manually and via forklift (training provided if needed)
- Load tires and recyclables into trailers and dumpsters
- Sort, bale, and transport materials from storage or work sites
- Operate equipment (forklifts, balers) safely and efficiently
- Document work performed and follow environmental guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Schedule:
- 1st shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM
- 2nd Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Pitman Shift: rotating 2-2-3 schedule
- Overtime available
Pay:
- $17.00/hr - 1st shift
- $18.20/hr - 2nd shift
Material Handler Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED
- Previous forklift experience required; minimum 6 months
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Must willing to wear steel-toed boots and other PPE provided.
