Job description

Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking for a dedicated Imaging Systems Support Specialist to join the team. This role will be Full-Time Day shift.

Imaging Systems Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Vectra imaging systems across multiple clinics
  • Troubleshoot technical and workflow issues in real time to ensure continuity of care
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, vendors, IT, and Biomedical Engineering
  • Support system uptime, performance, and user adoption
  • Assist with workflow optimization and best practices for imaging use
  • Train and support clinic staff on system functionality and proper use
  • Monitor, escalate, and track issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Complete required training/certifications on Vectra and similar systems; stay current on system updates, functionality, and industry developments
  • Support data integrity and security of imaging systems in coordination with IT and Biomedical Engineering

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start; Certified Imaging Informatics Professional within 12 months
  • Licensure - None Required
  • Experience - 3 years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment OR 3 years experience in information technology in these related fields; PACS, RIS, DICOM, Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
  • Education - Associate Degree with AART OR Associate Degree in IT or related field
