Job description

As a Certification Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the certification process of our lighting solutions from concept to market launch. Working in our testing laboratory, you will coordinate testing activities, prepare and review technical reports, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and international certification partners. You will ensure our products comply with the latest international safety and performance standards while supporting innovation across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Manage testing activities within our ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, prepare and review test reports, and communicate results to internal departments and external certification partners.
  • Lead certification projects from A to Z, ensuring compliance with international safety and performance standards.
  • Act as the go-to expert for R&D on technical standards and their practical implementation throughout the product development process.
  • Plan and support electrical, thermal, and mechanical laboratory testing, working closely with laboratory operators and introducing new test methods where needed.
  • Stay up to date with local and international standards and legislation, translating regulatory changes into practical guidance for the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international certification bodies and external testing partners.
  • Play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving our ISO 17025 laboratory management system.

  • Holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanics or has an equivalent level through experience and motivation.
