QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate for elementary education
  • Must obtain GT Certification (30 hours)
  • Preferred additional subject area certifications: 4-8 Mathematics/Science
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with STEM/project based learning

Special Knowledge/Skills
  • Experience facilitating "hands-on" experiments and projects that allow students to learn by doing and exploring
  • Excellent organization skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks and activities
  • Excellent teamwork skills and an ability to collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and students
