Job description

Cerity Partners is building a data-driven Lead Generation Laboratory to systematically surface, enrich, and route high-quality prospects across the firm. The Platform Owner is the technical and operational backbone of this effort - a dedicated hire who will own the enrichment infrastructure, manage the Lead Lab's analyst team, and serve as the critical link between data systems and revenue-generating advisors.
This is a build-and-operate role for a technically fluent operator who thrives at the intersection of financial services, CRM systems, and modern data tooling. The Platform Owner will have direct impact on Capital Solutions' ability to identify new clients and expand wallet share across Cerity Partner's client base.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tech Stack Ownership
  • Own and administer all Lead Lab data platforms, including tools for wealth identification, enrichment, relationship mapping, and financial trigger monitoring (e.g., Windfall, Equilar, Aidentified, Seamless.AI, Clay)
  • Monitor vendor developments and evaluate new functionality; manage contract renewals and vendor relationships
  • Lead ongoing platform rationalization - eliminating redundancy and maximizing utilization across the enrichment stack
  • Stay current on emerging AI-powered enrichment tools and signal detection technologies

Salesforce Integration & Data Quality
  • Build and maintain enrichment flows into Salesforce leads, prospects, and client records
  • Ensure data quality, deduplication, and freshness across the firm's ~50,000-person client base
  • Coordinate with the Salesforce admin team and Practice Development on schema design and workflow updates
  • Serve as key liaison between Central Solutions, Partner Development, and technical execution teams

Email Linkage Engine
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Graph API integration to surface historical email connections between advisors and prospective clients
  • Surface warm introduction signals and route connection intelligence to the Concierge Desk and Practice Development
  • Ensure the linkage engine operates reliably and that output is actionable for business development teams

Team & Platform Leadership
  • Directly manage two Lead Lab Analysts, setting priorities, reviewing outputs, and ensuring alignment with business development goals
  • Own the Lead Lab's reporting infrastructure, including dashboards and weekly scored lead batch delivery
  • Liaise across Central Solutions, Practice Development, and Capital Solutions to ensure the platform serves front-line need

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in finance, data, or related field a plus
  • 5-10+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a data/operations role in a complex professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM - ideally with hands-on configuration or administration experience
  • Technical comfort with APIs and data integration concepts; ability to communicate with engineers and translate business needs into technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Clay) or workflow automation platforms
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, or Addepar/Orion
  • Prior experience managing direct reports or a small team

Skills and Competencies:
  • Familiarity with wealth data platforms such as Windfall, Equilar, Aidentified, BoardEx, or similar tools
  • Highly organized, with a track record of managing multiple vendor relationships and complex data workflows
  • Strong communicator who can translate data insights into actionable guidance for advisors and leadership
  • Must accept and thrive in a fast-moving, build-phase environment with evolving priorities

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional travel to firm offices or vendor meetings may be required

Compensation Range:
$100,000-$175,000
Why Cerity Partners:
Our people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Below is a glimpse of the key elements of our total rewards package:
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance - day 1!
  • 401(k) savings and investment plan options with 4% match
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Parental Leave
  • Financial assistance for advanced education and professional designations
  • Opportunity to give back time to local communities
  • Commuter benefits
