Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Central Sterile Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings.  Our team works together like a family, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: 


  • You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs. 


  • You will use microbiology, instrumentation, and hand cleaning techniques for equipment and machines. 


  • You will print an appropriate doctorโ€™s preference list, assemble case carts, and fill in requisitions. 


  • You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments. 


  • You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators, and their monitoring cleaning. 


Qualifications: 


  • Successful completion of a program for operating room 


  • CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.  


  • Familiarity with knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred.  


  • Prior experience is required.
